The Cabrillo Music Festival 2022 has been announced, featuring a performance of Sarah's 27-minute tone poem, 'Hiraeth,' with film accompaniment by Mark DeChiazza. ‘Hiraeth’ is both an elegy for Sarah's father, who died suddenly of a rare cancer while she was writing the piece, and a meditation on the complex, conflicting emotions that can attend nostalgia for the past.

Originally scheduled for summer 2020, this performance of 'Hiraeth' will be the West Coast premiere of the work, as well as Sarah's debut performance at the festival.
